Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
American citizen or Green Card holder
able to work 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
pass pre-employment drug test including Marijuana and controlled substances
comply with grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
no alcohol consumption during work
meet physical demands of the job
complete safety and emergency training
willing to work onboard for entire cruise season
temporary employment not to extend beyond 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old
American citizen or Green Card holder
able to work 12 hour shifts for 7 days a week over 28 weeks
capable of meeting moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing and walking for extended periods
ability to work under pressure and maintain composure
positive attitude
excellent communication and customer service skills
experience in hospitality preferred but not required

Job Duties

Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
efficiently set-up and break-down meal service areas including tables, linen, silverware, china and glassware
cater to all culinary requests efficiently
acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
relay orders accurately to the galley and serve courses and beverages ensuring proper presentation and garnishing
perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
maintain a professional and courteous demeanor throughout service
