Job Requirements

  • prior experience as a server or in a customer service role preferred
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays of food or drinks
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge of food and beverage safety practices is a plus

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering a warm welcome
  • present menu items and daily specials, providing recommendations as needed
  • take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
  • serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
  • anticipate guest needs and ensure a high level of service throughout their dining experience
  • handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and ensure issues are resolved promptly
  • ensure that tables, chairs, and dining areas are clean and well-organized
  • assist with resetting tables for the next guests
  • process payments, provide accurate bills, and manage the checkout process efficiently
  • complete assigned opening and closing duties, including sidework, cleaning, and stocking
  • comply with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
  • juggle the responsibilities of serving multiple tables at once, ensuring all guests are attended to without long waits
  • assist other servers, host, bar, or kitchen staff during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations
