Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Comprehensive knowledge of restaurant layout
- Strong knowledge of menu items and wine list
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- Understanding of service standards and guest etiquette
- Proficient communication skills in English
- Ability to promote wine sales and recall menu items
- Experience using Point of Sale systems
- Compliance with uniform, hygiene and grooming policies
- Physical ability to stand and walk 8 to 10 hour shifts
- Capability to reach, bend, stoop and wipe
- Ability to lift and carry trays up to 30 pounds
- Capacity to work under pressure during busy periods
- Flexibility to work varying schedules
- Willingness to attend training and pass tests
- CPR, Food handling certificate, or First Aid training preferred
Job Qualifications

- Familiarity with service standards and guest relations etiquette
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Skilled in soliciting wine sales and promoting menu items
- Proficient in operating Point of Sale systems
- Adherence to uniform, hygiene, and grooming standards
Job Duties
- Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
- Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, explaining specials and promotions
- Market and properly open and serve bottles of wine
- Record guest orders accurately, confirming details and inputting them into the Point of Sale system
- Abide by State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations regarding alcoholic beverage service
- Market and serve dessert items, specialty coffees, and after-dinner drinks upon request
- Present the check promptly and ensure correct payment
- Attend pre-shift meetings to review service information and specials
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
- Consistently attend company training programs and pass all related tests
