Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or above
- have or obtain Food Handlers certification
- have or obtain ABC Responsible Beverage Service certification
- ability to stand 100 percent of shift
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and clean frequently
- be a team player and promote a positive work environment
- availability for all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude
- strong guest service and communication skills
- experience in commercial restaurant and bar preferred
- bilingual ability a plus
- ability to learn and use POS systems
- ability to obtain required certifications
- availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Build regulars and ensure guests have a great experience
- greet new guests promptly and friendly
- maintain alcohol awareness and service standards
- take guest food and beverage orders accurately
- answer guest questions about menus
- ring in orders and process payments
- monitor guests' experience by checking back and maintaining drink levels
- pre-bus plates and glasses
- participate in company initiatives and promotions
- have or obtain Food Handlers Certificate and ABC Responsible Beverage Service certification
- maintain safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- perform opening and closing duties including stocking condiments and supplies
- bus and reset tables
- follow food and beverage transportation guidelines
- maintain working knowledge of ordering and payment systems
- keep seating areas clean
- uphold company culture and standards
- provide excellent guest service with a positive attitude
- identify potential problems and communicate with supervisors
- contact other team members for guest issues outside server role
- maintain supply stock and communicate needs
- adhere to uniform requirements
- perform other duties as directed
