Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in dining services or food service is a plus
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrated ability to follow safety and sanitation standards
- willingness to participate in ongoing training and development
- compassionate and patient demeanor
Job Duties
- Prepare, maintain and reset dining room for all meals
- fill resident food requests, transport food to dining room or deliver service trays to resident's units
- maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment including washing dishes, cleaning floors, taking out trash and stocking the refrigerator
- properly distribute and store away food
- establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff
- actively participate as a member of a team and work towards goals set by management
- promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
