Job Requirements
- Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school
- Food handlers certification
- Ability to stand and walk for 100 percent of the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds independently
- Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 50 pounds independently
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and balance frequently throughout the workday
- Ability to see, hear and speak clearly
- Prior food service experience preferred
- Experience working with seniors preferred

Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and organization at all times
- Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times
- Maintain dining room appearance and presentation standards consistently
- Demonstrate serving standards of speed, accuracy and efficiency
- Set tables and maintain workstations properly
- Take orders, provide service and requested items graciously and courteously
- Answer questions about menu items accurately
- Clear dishes from tables during and after meals
- Assist with dishwashing and reset tables
- Serve customers using proper etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere
- Understand and serve diets according to policy and procedure
- Represent the community warmly and invitingly to create positive marketing
- Support business decisions that drive revenue and occupancy
