Job Requirements

  • Minimum education high school or equivalent diploma
  • 1-2 years of food service experience
  • Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
  • Possesses excellent customer service skills
  • Must be dependable
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work in a team environment

  • Previous server with bar knowledge is helpful but not required

Job Duties

  • Engage with guests from diverse backgrounds providing a first-class experience and dedicated service
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills while processing orders and serving food and beverage items
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times
  • Provide prompt and efficient customer service
  • Display knowledge of food and beverage menu
  • Take guest's food and drink orders and communicate to kitchen and bar
  • Serve beverages and prepared meals accurately and timely
  • Adhere to sanitation safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and discontinuing service to intoxicated guests
  • Check back to ensure guest satisfaction replenish items as necessary
  • Suggest and serve dessert coffee and other items as applicable
  • Handle all cash and credit card payments following standard procedures
  • Keep tables dining room and workstation sanitized and organized
  • Listen and respond to customer complaints
  • Perform clean-up and closing procedures as assigned
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
  • Engage in physical activities including standing walking bending and scooping for long periods
  • Reach with arms and hands regularly
  • Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs
  • Use sight reading and wrist movement to serve meals beverages operate equipment and clean food service areas
  • Work extended hours during holiday season
  • Work weekends and holidays
