Job Duties
- Ensuring the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant
- Providing a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees
- Helping guests select menu items by thoroughly explaining food and bar menus, recommending cocktails, suggesting courses, explaining chef's features, and identifying wines
- Thoroughly answering all food and beverage preparation questions
- Making managers aware of any special accommodations such as food allergies prior to reporting to the kitchen
- Maintaining cleanliness of tables and surrounding dining area
- Completing opening, running, and closing side work related to job duties
