Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Food handler’s permit or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Ensuring the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant
  • Providing a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees
  • Helping guests select menu items by thoroughly explaining food and bar menus
  • Recommending cocktails, suggesting courses, explaining chef's features, and identifying wines
  • Answering all food and beverage preparation questions thoroughly
  • Making managers aware of special accommodations such as food allergies prior to reporting to the kitchen
  • Maintaining cleanliness of tables and dining area and completing opening, running and closing side work
