Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years old
- able to lift up to 40 pounds
- able to stand for up to 10 hours
- must read, write, and understand English
- flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- prior server experience
- commitment to providing excellent customer service
- passionate about working in hospitality and team settings
Job Qualifications
- minimum six months of server experience
- experience in full-service or upscale casual dining preferred
- comfort discussing food, wine, and Wine Club program
- strong passion for hospitality
- ability to multitask and stay calm in fast-paced environment
- effective communication skills
- ability to provide genuine guest engagement
- familiarity with POS systems
- basic knowledge of alcohol service laws
- ability to collaborate as part of a team
Job Duties
- arrive on time and adhere to uniform standards
- know the menu, wine list, and steps of service
- use the POS system and handle payments accurately
- understand and communicate the benefits of the Cooper's Hawk Wine Club
- follow departmental checklists and prepare work areas for service
- jump in to support team members as needed
- serve food and drinks promptly and with care
- comply with legal alcohol service guidelines
- take initiative to solve problems and enhance guest experience
- anticipate needs of guests and team members
- communicate clearly with kitchen, hosts, bartenders, and managers
- maintain coordination and focus within the team
- welcome guests warmly and celebrate milestones
- make genuine recommendations and answer guest questions
- educate guests about the Wine Club and invite memberships
- find small ways to delight guests beyond expectations
- share stories of the Wine Club
- introduce wine tastings to guests
- let personality shine and personalize every interaction
