Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages and 21 to pour
- valid food handling certificate where applicable
- valid certificate in alcoholic awareness program where applicable
- two to three years of experience as a server
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- strong organization and time management skills
- basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills

Job Duties
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times
- anticipate resident's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
- maintain complete knowledge of restaurant operations, proper table set-up and dress code
- work closely with the Food & Beverage Director and/or General Manager to keep residents satisfied
- set tables in accordance to Coterie standards
- serve residents and guests meals and beverages as requested
- maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations
- adhere to quality enhancement standards and food safety practices
- review daily menu with residents
- maintain complete knowledge of Toast and/or POS system as well as manual systems
- take and deliver accurate meal orders to residents and guests
- remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, linen from dining area as needed
- clean and reset tables immediately after residents and guests depart
- maintain knowledge of all menu items, preparation methods, major ingredients, and quality standards
- assist with special events, banquets, and theme meals
- adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies
- process payments through POS
- acquaint new residents with menus, seating, and dining options
- clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and dining equipment
- complete side duties regarding cleanliness and inventory
- review reservations and accommodate requests
- create strong teamwork and cooperation
- attend pre-meal stand up meetings
- perform other duties as assigned
