Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- ability to lift objects weighing over 50 pounds with assistance
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to maintain professional appearance
- completion of safety training and certifications
- adherence to company safety and security policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- minimum 1 year of related work experience in food and beverage service
- knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- excellent customer service skills
- proficiency in using POS systems such as MICROS
- ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- ability to handle guest inquiries and special dietary requirements
- strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
- understanding of company service standards
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
Job Duties
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
- set tables according to type of event and service standards
- answer questions on menu selections
- communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
- communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
- record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
- check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverage
- maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, and glassware
- complete closing duties including restocking items and turning off lights
- present accurate check to guests and process payment
- follow all company and safety and security policies
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
- complete safety training and certifications
- ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- welcome and acknowledge all guests
- anticipate and address guests' service needs
- assist individuals with disabilities
- develop and maintain positive working relationships with team
- ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- perform physical activities including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods
- move and lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 50 pounds with assistance
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
