Job Requirements
- Valid RAMP/TIPS certification
- prior restaurant experience preferred
- ability to stand and walk regularly during shift
- ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- strong customer service skills
- proficiency with POS systems
- good communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- ability to work flexible hours
- reliable and punctual
- able to maintain a professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- Prior restaurant experience is preferred
- valid RAMP/TIPS certification
- superior knowledge of beer, wine, and food
- competent in POS system usage
- excellent oral communication skills
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction
- dedication to maintaining safety and security procedures
Job Duties
- Describes menu and daily specials
- takes orders and enters them into the POS system
- delivers beer and wine lists
- may open and pour wine when serving guests
- makes sure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals
- observes diners to ensure they are satisfied with food and service
- responds to additional requests
- rings up bill and accepts payment or refers guests to cashier
- may assist bus person in stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables
- possesses superior beer, wine and food knowledge
- prepares table and maintains throughout service
- runs food quickly and accurately
- communicates with the kitchen
- manages section and service
- maintains side work throughout shift
- attends required trainings and meetings
- delivers an exceptional experience through outstanding hospitality and food service to the guests
