Job Requirements

  • Valid RAMP/TIPS certification
  • prior restaurant experience preferred
  • ability to stand and walk regularly during shift
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • strong customer service skills
  • proficiency with POS systems
  • good communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • reliable and punctual
  • able to maintain a professional appearance

Job Qualifications

  • Prior restaurant experience is preferred
  • valid RAMP/TIPS certification
  • superior knowledge of beer, wine, and food
  • competent in POS system usage
  • excellent oral communication skills

  • ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction
  • dedication to maintaining safety and security procedures

Job Duties

  • Describes menu and daily specials
  • takes orders and enters them into the POS system
  • delivers beer and wine lists
  • may open and pour wine when serving guests
  • makes sure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals
  • observes diners to ensure they are satisfied with food and service
  • responds to additional requests
  • rings up bill and accepts payment or refers guests to cashier
  • may assist bus person in stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables
  • possesses superior beer, wine and food knowledge
  • prepares table and maintains throughout service
  • runs food quickly and accurately
  • communicates with the kitchen
  • manages section and service
  • maintains side work throughout shift
  • attends required trainings and meetings
  • delivers an exceptional experience through outstanding hospitality and food service to the guests
