Job Requirements

ability to stand and walk for 100% of the work day
ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs independently
ability to push and pull bus carts weighing up to 50 lbs independently
ability to bend, stoop, reach and balance frequently
must be able to see, hear, and speak
no formal education level required
prior waiting experience preferred but training available

Job Qualifications

experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred
ability to interpret and explain menu
strong communication skills to coordinate with team and residents
courteous, tactful and gracious demeanor
ability to work closely with residents, guests, families, supervisors and peers

Job Duties

take food and beverage orders from seniors and guests
explain menu items clearly and answer related questions
coordinate meal service process efficiently
deliver meals and beverages promptly with attention to presentation
maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area
work cooperatively with residents, families, and team members
adhere to health and safety standards in food handling
