Job Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age
possess a minimum 10th grade education or equivalent experience
have at least one year of experience as a server or in a similar food service environment
understand and comply with health and safety policies and procedures
free from illegal drug use
free from effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
no history of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment of individuals in healthcare settings
demonstrate effective time management skills

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 16 years of age
at least 10th grade education or equivalent work experience
one year experience as a server, waiter, or similar food service role
working knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
effective time management skills

Job Duties

Take resident meal orders and serve meals correctly and efficiently
provide exceptional customer service while engaging with coworkers and residents
bring awareness for food allergies and preferences, ensuring each resident receives meals as needed
deliver meals, food and drinks to residents and their guests with efficiency and professionalism
clean and reset areas of the community, including dining areas, food service areas, and resident rooms
engage with residents and others in the community with charm, professionalism, respect, and a bright personality
maintain knowledge of all menu items, preparation, timing, ingredients, and presentation methods
relay messaging from residents to the kitchen about dining needs, food preferences, special requests
use technology such as Point of Sale systems for communication between residents and kitchen
responsibilities include customer service, food service, and communication
