Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to read and communicate in English
Ability to operate Micros point of sale system and credit card machines accurately
Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions
Ability to read and write handwritten notes
Ability to reach, bend and stoop frequently

Ability to operate credit card machines and Micros point of sale system
Familiarity with food and drink menu items and preparation

Job Duties

Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
Adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
Maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change
Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
Greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
Accurately take guests’ food and drink orders
Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
Enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges
Ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to designated table server’s own section, as well as other sections in the restaurant as needed
Work quickly and efficiently adhering to "Full hands in, full hands out" philosophy
Assist in party set up and breakdown
Bus and reset tables as needed
Assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
Be responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and complete station side work at the beginning and end of their shift
Participate in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand
Follow portion guidelines to ensure cost control while maximizing the guest experience
Ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, prebussing as necessary, and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
Keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency
Effectively communicate with guests to generate enthusiasm about the D&B experience
Demonstrate ability to operate Micros, make changes, accurately conduct credit card transactions, and account for all monies at the end of each shift
Be able to read and communicate in English
Listen to hear guests’ orders and needs and communicate verbally with guests and team members via Micros system
Dress in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
Be at least 18 years of age
