Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

  • Must be able to navigate a busy restaurant and handle various tasks simultaneously

  • Previous server experience is beneficial

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about menu items
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring guest preferences are noted
  • Communicate orders to the kitchen and receive food for service
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring accurate presentations and garnishes
  • Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any needs promptly
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions in accordance with restaurant policies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas, including resetting tables and ensuring proper sanitation practices
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to provide excellent service
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions, and stay informed about menu changes and new offerings
