Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering a warm welcome
- present menu items and daily specials, providing recommendations as needed
- take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
- serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
- anticipate guest needs and ensure a high level of service throughout their dining experience
- handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and ensure issues are resolved promptly
- ensuring that tables, chairs, and dining areas are clean and well-organized, assisting with resetting tables for the next guests
- process payments, provide accurate bills, and manage the checkout process efficiently
- complete assigned opening and closing duties, including sidework, cleaning, and stocking
- complying with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
- juggling the responsibilities of serving multiple tables at once, ensuring all guests are attended to without long waits
- assisting other servers, host, bar, or kitchen staff during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations
