Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year minimum experience in fine dining or similar caliber concept
  • proficiency in a variety of technology systems and POS platforms
  • current NYC Food Protection Certificate
  • willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
  • TIPS certification required
  • ability to work a variable schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays per the needs of the business
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • maintains complete knowledge of Maxime's policies and procedures and ensures that all practices and policies are being upheld
  • maintains thorough knowledge of all food and beverage items in our Zodiac Lounge to assist members with any dietary concerns or issues including any dietary preferences and/or food allergies
  • ensures service is provided in a timely, professional, and effective manner
  • processes food and beverage orders as needed ensuring accuracy when entering orders into POS
  • adheres to all Department of Health and safety standards related to food handling, hygiene, and alcohol service
  • supports all front-of-house team members in providing exceptional hospitality
