Job Requirements

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
  • minimum of one year of prior food and beverage service experience
  • experience working in restaurant conditions including exposure to hot or cold environments
  • availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • must maintain professional conduct and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and stable work environment
  • employees who drive on company property must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license throughout their employment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of prior food and beverage service experience
  • experience working in restaurant conditions including exposure to hot or cold environments
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communicate respectfully with senior citizens
  • working knowledge of kitchen equipment and point-of-sale systems
  • ability to lift and balance trays and carry hot foods safely
  • strong command of the English language
  • team-oriented, respectful, tactful, and able to remain positive under pressure

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with courtesy and professionalism
  • accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, refrigerators, and condiment containers
  • report customer, equipment, or coworker issues to a supervisor promptly
  • maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and uniform at all times
  • assist with event or shift room setup and breakdown
  • complete assigned side work duties
  • direct bussers to tables requiring service
