Job Requirements
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
- minimum of one year of prior food and beverage service experience
- experience working in restaurant conditions including exposure to hot or cold environments
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- must maintain professional conduct and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented and stable work environment
- employees who drive on company property must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license throughout their employment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of prior food and beverage service experience
- experience working in restaurant conditions including exposure to hot or cold environments
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds and communicate respectfully with senior citizens
- working knowledge of kitchen equipment and point-of-sale systems
- ability to lift and balance trays and carry hot foods safely
- strong command of the English language
- team-oriented, respectful, tactful, and able to remain positive under pressure
Job Duties
- Greet guests with courtesy and professionalism
- accurately take and deliver food and beverage orders
- maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, refrigerators, and condiment containers
- report customer, equipment, or coworker issues to a supervisor promptly
- maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and uniform at all times
- assist with event or shift room setup and breakdown
- complete assigned side work duties
- direct bussers to tables requiring service
