- Prior server experience preferred
- ServeSafe Food Certification a plus
- Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required

Job Duties
- Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
- Interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- Greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
- Completes assigned opening and closing side work
- Presents guest checks and handles payment transactions accurately
- Relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale system in a timely and accurate manner
- Serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws, company and brand policies
- Participates in clearing and resetting dining room tables using team delivery
- Observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guests' needs
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices to guests
- Drives sales with suggestive selling techniques
- Writes and repeats guests' orders to ensure accuracy
- Accommodates special needs such as booster chairs and high chairs
- Occasionally serves guests in Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server roles
- Performs general utility functions as requested by management
