Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- Must possess, at a minimum, a 10th grade education or have equivalent work experience
- One year of experience as a server or in a similar food service environment
- Working knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
- Freedom from illegal drug use
- Freedom from drug and alcohol use and effects in the workplace
- No history of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment in health care related settings
- Effective time management skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Completion of 10th grade education or equivalent
- At least 1 year experience as a server or in a similar food service environment
- Working knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Clear of any legal convictions related to abuse or neglect in health care settings
Job Duties
- Takes resident meal orders and serves meals correctly and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service while engaging with coworkers and residents
- Bring a heightened awareness for food allergies and preferences
- Deliver meals, food and drinks to residents and their guests with efficiency and professionalism
- Clean and reset dining areas, food service areas, and residents' rooms
- Engage with residents and others in the community with charm, professionalism, respect, and a bright personality
- Maintain a working knowledge of all menu items, preparation, time, ingredients and method of presentation
- Relay messaging from residents to the kitchen about dining needs, food preferences and special requests
- Use technology such as a Point of Sale to communicate between residents and the kitchen
- Carry out responsibilities including customer service, food service and communication
