Job Requirements

  • Pass pre-employment drug test including testing for Marijuana and other controlled substances
  • abstain from alcohol consumption during employment
  • be available for a temporary 28-week assignment
  • comply with grooming standards
  • have valid legal work authorization as an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • meet physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
  • work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week
  • be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • Be at least eighteen years of age
  • be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • have the willingness and ability to work a minimum of 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • possess the ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
  • maintain grooming standards which include limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • be able to perform emergency and safety functions essential to ship operation
  • demonstrate a positive attitude, ability to work well under pressure, and composure

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • efficiently set-up and break-down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china and glassware
  • cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
  • acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest particular courses and wines, and answer questions about menu items
  • relay orders efficiently to the galley and serve various courses and beverages with care and presentation
  • perform additional duties including greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
