Job Duties
- Greet all guests and explain menus and offerings
- Take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner
- Serve beverages and food to guests
- Clear and clean tables efficiently
- Perform side-work and service opening or closing duties
- Maintain clean wait staff stations throughout shifts
- Alert management of any service, guest, or safety issues
- Make service recovery gestures according to guidelines
- Receive and process guest payments
- Assist with other service-related duties assigned by management
- Follow service opening and closing procedures
- Maintain professional demeanor with all staff
- Assist staff with food delivery and service steps
- Be accessible for service and beverage questions
- Follow training manual service steps and assist in staff communication
- Collect contact tracing information and return to host
- Prompt guests to wear masks when standing or walking
- Maintain expertise on food, wine, and cocktail menus
- Be an expert on brand and offerings
