Job Duties

  • Greet all guests and explain menus and offerings
  • Take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner
  • Serve beverages and food to guests
  • Clear and clean tables efficiently
  • Perform side-work and service opening or closing duties
  • Maintain clean wait staff stations throughout shifts
  • Alert management of any service, guest, or safety issues
  • Make service recovery gestures according to guidelines
  • Receive and process guest payments
  • Assist with other service-related duties assigned by management
  • Follow service opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain professional demeanor with all staff
  • Assist staff with food delivery and service steps
  • Be accessible for service and beverage questions
  • Follow training manual service steps and assist in staff communication
  • Collect contact tracing information and return to host
  • Prompt guests to wear masks when standing or walking
  • Maintain expertise on food, wine, and cocktail menus
  • Be an expert on brand and offerings
