Job Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Physical capability to lift and carry supplies up to 30 lbs and raise trays up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
  • Ability to stand and walk during shifts of 4 to 8 hours
  • Ability to hear well in noisy environments
  • Compliance with health regulations related to food handling
  • Ability to observe and differentiate monetary denominations
  • Capability to work around potentially hazardous chemicals
  • Must be able to pass all required training and tests
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Must maintain uniform and grooming standards throughout the shift

Job Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills in English both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Dependability and ability to learn and follow instructions
  • Ability to meet uniform and grooming standards consistently
  • Minimum age of 21 in locations that serve alcoholic beverages
  • Knowledge of safe cash handling procedures
  • Ability to operate point of sale systems
  • Respect for diversity and others

Job Duties

  • Greet guests promptly and courteously upon arrival and departure
  • Assist with guest seating using proper order and rotation procedures
  • Take and enter accurate orders on the point of sale system
  • Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner with attention to presentation
  • Suggestively sell menu items and achieve guest check average targets
  • Address guest complaints and requests politely and notify supervisors when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room and service areas including completing all required side-work and deep cleaning
