Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- one year of serving experience preferred
- availability to work a flexible schedule
- ability to read, write and understand English
- manual dexterity with use of kitchen equipment and utensils
- physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop and work continuously without extended sitting
- ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds

- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to use kitchen equipment and utensils safely
- capable of standing, walking and moving continuously during shift

Job Duties
- enhance the overall dining experience for residents, family members and guests
- assist in delivery of culinary activities for all dining venues including Bistro, Casual, Formal, Luminations® memory care and Club Room
- support special events and private functions with food service
- provide professional, friendly, courteous, helpful and timely service adhering to The Sterling Touch® standards
- work under guidance of Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor
- maintain compliance with community policies, processes and procedures
- ensure high level of satisfaction for residents and their guests
