Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to use computers and POS systems to input and research data
  • Ability to stand and walk regularly
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Good vision including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, pushing or pulling occasionally
  • Ability to interact with residents, clients, and coworkers with patience and understanding
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Availability for minimum of 2 shifts per month
  • Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate preferred
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of POS systems and software applications
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including day or evening
  • Patience, understanding, and kindness consistent with company values

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner
  • Prepare food and beverages for service to residents and guests in compliance with all health and safety regulations and presentation standards
  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system
  • Serve food and beverages to residents and guests with accuracy in a courteous, timely, and professional manner meeting or exceeding guest service standards and expectations
  • Work with and follow up with Supervisors and Managers to address and respond to residents’ concerns and requests regarding food quality, service, and related matters
  • Provide Managers and Supervisors with continuous feedback from residents on food preparation, presentation, and taste
  • Perform side-work and other opening or closing duties as required
  • Ensure that waitstaff stations are clean and maintained throughout the shift
  • Perform necessary duties for emergency drills and situations such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook
  • Interact with residents, clients and co-workers with patience, understanding and kindness in accordance with Arcadia Family of Companies’ mission and core values
