Job Requirements

Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age
must possess at least a 10th grade education or have equivalent work experience
have 1-year experience as a server or in a similar food service environment
have working knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
freedom from illegal use of drugs
freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
no history of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment in a health care related setting
demonstrate effective time management skills

Job Qualifications

Minimum of 16 years of age

1-year experience as a server or in a similar food service environment
working knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
demonstrates effective time management skills

Job Duties

Take residents meal orders and serve meals correctly and efficiently
provide exceptional customer service while engaging with coworkers and residents
bring heightened awareness for food allergies and preferences to ensure each resident receives meals as needed
deliver meals, food, and drinks to residents and their guests efficiently and professionally
clean and reset areas within dining areas, food service areas, and residents rooms
engage with residents and others in the community with charm, professionalism, and respect
maintain knowledge of all menu items, preparation, time, ingredients and method of presentation
relay messaging from residents to the kitchen about dining needs, food preferences, orders, and special requests
use technology such as a Point of Sale to provide clear communication between residents and the kitchen
perform responsibilities including customer service, food service, and communication
