Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand, stoop, bend frequently and lift or push up to 50 pounds
Good communication skills
Physical stamina to assist residents and respond to emergencies
Availability to work rotating shifts with schedule known one month in advance
Must be able to work scheduled shifts from 7am to 3pm or 10:30am to 7pm
Flexibility to work any day of the week

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in dining services or assisted living preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
Strong customer service skills
Capability to handle physical demands of the job
Flexibility to work rotating shifts including early morning and evening hours
Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple roles

Job Duties

Take and serve meal orders from residents in a courteous and professional manner
Assist in setting up dining areas including arranging tables and ensuring cleanliness and organization before and after meals
Stand, stoop, and bend frequently and lift or push up to 50 pounds
Possess adequate physical stamina to move freely about the community and assist residents including in emergency situations
Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate meal service
Ensure all serving areas are stocked with necessary supplies
Be adaptable and open to cross-training in various roles within dining and kitchen areas
Withstand heat from cooking area and cold from below-zero freezer
