Job Requirements

0-2 years related experience
Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
Ability to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Excellent guest service skills
Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
Detail oriented with multitasking ability
Ability to prioritize and organize
Computer skills for POS system
Physical ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, reach with hands
Effective verbal communication
Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Access to all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock area, and register area

Job Duties

Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring all items meet company standards
Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
Describe food items properly and maintain quality standards
Input orders accurately into the POS system
Pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work
Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
Handle guest complaints effectively and involve the manager when appropriate
Communicate and interact confidently with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease
Assist in other job categories as needed
Perform all other duties as assigned
