Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detail oriented with multitasking ability
- Ability to prioritize and organize
- Computer skills for POS system
- Physical ability to stand for entire shift and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach with hands
- Effective verbal communication
- Visual acuity including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Access to all restaurant areas including selling floor, stock area, and register area

Job Duties
- Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serve food and beverages promptly ensuring all items meet company standards
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
- Describe food items properly and maintain quality standards
- Input orders accurately into the POS system
- Pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
- Handle guest complaints effectively and involve the manager when appropriate
- Communicate and interact confidently with guests, handle crowds, and put guests at ease
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
