Job Requirements
- Availability from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm every day including holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas
- Full-time commitment considering Keke's as primary employment
- Dark blue jeans, black belt, and black non-slip shoes required on first day
- Willingness to work at independently owned and operated franchise locations
- Direct employment inquiries to individual franchise locations
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours
- Clear communication skills
- Exceptional grooming habits
- Excellent basic math skills
- Ability to operate a cash register or POS system
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance
Job Duties
- Welcome guests as they enter
- Greet guests upon arriving at the table
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make recommendations guests will enjoy
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the POS system
- Prepare coffee and tea when assistance is not available
- Prepare toast when toast assistant is not present
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen to guests promptly
- Perform side work at the start and end of shifts
- Maintain clean service areas including tables, seats, floors, and windows
- Monitor guests' dining experience and respond to requests promptly
- Prepare final bills, process payments, and handle cash or credit card transactions
- Assist co-workers and pre-bus tables
- Thank guests and invite them to return
- Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
