Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service
  • ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • ability to work flexible hours including early shifts
  • physical ability to perform repetitive tasks including bending, stooping, and reaching
  • reliable and punctual
  • ability to work well in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
  • serve food and beverages promptly ensuring quality standards
  • communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist in menu selections
  • promote new promotions and product information to guests
  • describe menu items accurately and maintain food quality standards
  • input orders accurately into the POS system
  • pre-bus tables and assist with side work as assigned
  • practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain cleanliness
  • handle food prep equipment safely
  • effectively handle guest complaints and involve management as necessary
  • communicate and interact with guests to provide a relaxing environment while managing crowds
  • assist in other job categories as needed
  • perform additional duties as assigned
