Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of service experience
- Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of guests
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures
- Possess basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a micros system
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver trays weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests within 30 seconds
- Make all guests feel comfortable and personally taken care of
- Introduce yourself to guests
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Make genuine recommendations based on guest preferences
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and restaurant services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them accurately into the micros system
- Deliver food and beverages promptly, including 1-minute drink orders
- Perform side work at the start and end of shifts
- Anticipate guests' needs such as napkins and drink refills
- Build regular customers
- Maintain clean service areas and pre bus tables
- Monitor guests' dining experiences and ensure satisfaction
- Prepare final bill and process payments accurately
- Check back promptly after delivering the check
- Assist fellow servers and bus persons/hostesses as needed
- Thank guests and invite them to return
- Be available to fill in roles to ensure smooth restaurant operations
