  • prior experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • availability to work flexible schedules including nights weekends and holidays
  • compliance with food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Ensuring the guest dining experience is enjoyable well-timed and pleasant
  • providing a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees
  • helping guests select menu items by explaining food and bar menus recommending cocktails suggesting courses explaining chef's features and identifying wines
  • thoroughly answering all food and beverage preparation questions
  • making managers aware of any special accommodations such as specific food allergies prior to reporting it to the kitchen
  • maintaining the cleanliness of tables and dining area around guests
  • completing opening running and closing side work related to job duties
