Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- availability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
- legal age to serve alcohol
- ability to follow instructions and department procedures
- excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- knowledge of proper alcohol service and safety protocols
- ability to use POS systems efficiently
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong attention to detail and guest satisfaction
- ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Serving food to guests in an assigned section
- complete understanding of the menu to ensure excellent guest service
- proper service of alcohol including requesting ID and intoxication procedures
- proper use of the POS system and cash/tip handling
- keeping alert to guests needs such as pre-bussing, refilling drinks, and attending to accidents
- notifying the manager on duty of any guest dissatisfaction before the guest leaves the table
- work well with others and assist fellow team members as needed including seating guests
- complete Chef/Manager requested tasks
- standing and/or walking 100 percent of time
- occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs and frequently lifting up to 20 lbs
