Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and walk for long periods
- Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Capability to use hands for handling objects and controls
- Ability to bend, stoop, and communicate verbally
- Adequate vision including close distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception
- Ability to freely access all restaurant areas
- Commitment to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
Job Qualifications
- Excellent guest service skills and experience
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize and possess good organizational skills
- Computer skills including POS system experience
- Strong knowledge of common concepts and practices in a restaurant setting
- Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals
Job Duties
- Take guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring all items meet company standards and are delivered in a timely manner
- Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
- Describe food items knowledgeably and maintain quality standards
- Input orders accurately into the POS system
- Pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work
- Practice safe food and beverage handling and clean up as required
- Handle guest complaints effectively and involve managers when appropriate
- Communicate and interact positively with guests, manage crowds, and provide an excellent dining experience
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
