Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent serving experience in a high volume restaurant is required
  • Must have ServSafe Alcohol Certification prior to hire
  • Knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations regarding Health, Safety, Sanitation and Emergency procedures is required
  • Exceptional guest or customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of cash handling
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand English well enough for effective communication
  • Knowledge of computers is preferred
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug or alcohol screen and criminal background check
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof upon hire

Job Qualifications

  • Must be honest and forthright in reporting all monies and cash tips

Job Duties

  • Perform all opening or closing duties as scheduled to ensure the restaurant is clean and organized
  • Prepare tables with special attention to sanitation and order
  • Engage with guests in a friendly manner, attend to guests upon entrance and greet immediately
  • Present and explain menus to assist guests in selecting food or beverages
  • Take orders and communicate them to BOH in a timely manner
  • Serve orders to guests in a timely manner, check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature
  • Handle issues or concerns appropriately with a calm, positive demeanor, notify management of all issues or concerns
