Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of food service or customer service experience
  • Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
  • Experience with reservation management systems such as OpenTable
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to manage reservations and guest flow effectively
  • Exceptional guest service orientation
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Knowledge of menu, wines, and cocktails
  • Professional demeanor and appearance

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of food service or customer service experience
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems, OpenTable, and reservation management is highly recommended
  • Exceptional guest service skills focused on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere

  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Greet each guest warmly and genuinely to create a memorable first impression
  • Answer the phone with a friendly and professional tone, taking reservations and addressing guest inquiries promptly
  • Utilize the reservation system and seating chart effectively to manage guest flow in accordance with restaurant policies
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the menu, including food and beverage offerings, to respond confidently to guest questions
  • Engage with multiple guests simultaneously, balancing priorities while ensuring personalized and exceptional service
  • Use courteous and hospitable farewell techniques to ensure every guest feels valued as they leave
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant including sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, and ensuring restrooms are spotless
  • Assist in mentoring and training new team members to promote a collaborative and supportive environment
