Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- minimum 2 years experience in event management or related field
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in relevant major
- strong organizational skills

Job Duties
- prepare all event documentation and coordinate with sales and property departments
- manage complex events ensuring seamless turnover from sales to service and back to sales
- maximize revenue through up-selling and enhancements
- act as primary contact post-event turnover ensuring client satisfaction
- lead pre-event and post-event meetings
- manage group room blocks and meeting spaces
- adhere to all standards, policies and procedures
- celebrate team member contributions
- participate in customer site inspections
- forecast group sleeping rooms and event revenue
- review billing and payments with clients
- interact with guests and handle complaints
- communicate event details verbally and in writing
