Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
  • minimum 5 years experience in event sales or planning, preferably within luxury or resort environments
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to travel locally
  • proficiency with sales and event management software
  • leadership and mentoring experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field preferred
  • proven experience in wedding or social event sales or planning, ideally within luxury or resort settings
  • strong negotiation and communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • proficiency in sales and event management software
  • excellent organizational skills
  • leadership experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Proactively solicit, negotiate, and close wedding and social event business to meet or exceed established revenue goals
  • respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing customized proposals and site tours
  • negotiate contracts, concessions, and terms in accordance with resort guidelines
  • maintain accurate forecasting, booking pace reports, and revenue tracking
  • serve as the primary liaison for wedding and social event clients from initial booking through event execution
  • coordinate event details including guest counts, menus, floor plans, timelines, and special requests
  • ensure a high level of personalized service and relationship management for VIP and repeat clients
