Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in event sales or hospitality sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with sales and event management systems
- Willingness to be present on-site for key events
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in wedding, event sales, or hospitality sales preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
- Proficiency in sales and event management software
- Leadership experience in managing or mentoring sales teams considered an asset
Job Duties
- Proactively solicit, negotiate, and close wedding and social event business to meet or exceed established revenue goals
- Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing customized proposals and site tours
- Negotiate contracts, concessions, and terms in accordance with resort guidelines
- Maintain accurate forecasting, booking pace reports, and revenue tracking
- Serve as the primary liaison for wedding and social event clients from initial booking through event execution
- Coordinate event details including guest counts, menus, floor plans, timelines, and special requests
- Ensure a high level of personalized service and relationship management for VIP and repeat clients
