Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in event sales or hospitality sales
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with sales and event management systems
  • Willingness to be present on-site for key events
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • High level of professionalism and customer service orientation

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in wedding, event sales, or hospitality sales preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Proficiency in sales and event management software
  • Leadership experience in managing or mentoring sales teams considered an asset

Job Duties

  • Proactively solicit, negotiate, and close wedding and social event business to meet or exceed established revenue goals
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing customized proposals and site tours
  • Negotiate contracts, concessions, and terms in accordance with resort guidelines
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, booking pace reports, and revenue tracking
  • Serve as the primary liaison for wedding and social event clients from initial booking through event execution
  • Coordinate event details including guest counts, menus, floor plans, timelines, and special requests
  • Ensure a high level of personalized service and relationship management for VIP and repeat clients
