Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience
  • 2+ years' experience in warehouse, distribution or industry experience
  • Basic knowledge of routine warehouse practices and procedures
  • Basic computer skills
  • Good communication skills- listening, providing and receiving feedback
  • Ability to follow instructions

Job Duties

  • Provide departmental support in the Warehouse department
  • Support warehouse activities on a daily basis under the direction of Warehouse operation management
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
  • Perform labeling, sorting, scanning, weighing, shrink-wrapping
  • Ship and receive cargo according to the applicable regulatory and/or voluntary association's requirements: TSA and C-TPAT
  • Complete required documentation to record process, movement of goods, training, etc.
  • Safely and efficiently operate the appropriate forklift while assisting in loading, unloading, or stocking freight as required
  • Support additional departments/functions as appropriate
  • Cargo screening
  • Follow all safety and compliance guidelines
  • Maintain a clean working environment to ensure safety
  • Collaborate with others to ensure teamwork and customer satisfaction
  • General business support functions as assigned
