Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum 6 months of previous warehouse operations experience
  • Good physical stamina and coordination
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screen
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or days (site specific)
  • Exceed established location performance standards such as KPIs

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum 6 months of previous C.H. Robinson warehouse operations experience
  • Possess good physical stamina and coordination
  • Applicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or days (site specific)
  • Exceed location established performance standards, i.e. established KPI's (site specific)
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Previous external warehouse/freight forwarder experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders, etc. (preferred)
  • Ability to speak Spanish (site specific, preferred)
  • Values a diverse and inclusive work environment (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Receive goods from customers and suppliers by offloading and loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, and reporting discrepancies or damages
  • Operate stand-up, sit-down forklifts, and hand jacks for palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding of cargo
  • Load and unload trailers/ocean containers in a professional and damage-free manner
  • Prepare outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and handling Unit Load Device (ULD) preparation
  • Sign off Bills of Lading accurately, verifying counts and damages
  • Maintain the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees
  • Stage cargo within the warehouse safely and orderly while maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization
