Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a test pilot
  • Valid commercial pilot license with instrument and multi-engine ratings
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Strong understanding of FAA and other regulatory standards
  • Proficient in flight test data analysis software
  • Ability to maintain physical fitness standards for piloting

Job Duties

  • Conduct flight tests to evaluate aircraft performance
  • Mentor and lead junior test pilots and support team members
  • Maintain proficiency in multiple aircraft types including fixed-wing and rotary-wing
  • Analyze and report flight test data to support engineering teams
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards during certification processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical staff to develop test plans
  • Demonstrate aerospace technology capabilities during certification and marketing activities
