Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 to 7 years claims adjusting experience
- advanced knowledge of commercial casualty claims
- experience with claims exceeding $1 million
- ability to work independently
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
- willingness to travel and work in-office twice a month if within 50 miles of specified offices

- 5 to 7 years claims adjusting experience
- advanced knowledge of commercial casualty claims investigation and coverage evaluation
- expertise in reserving and expense management
- strong skills in resolution strategy and negotiation
- experience in litigation management
- deep understanding of insurance legal and regulatory environment
- demonstrated ability to work independently and achieve results
- expert-level experience with claims over $1 million at primary and excess levels
Job Duties
- Determine coverage and investigate commercial casualty excess claims
- assess liability and set reserves
- evaluate claims and recommend settlements
- authorize and pay or deny claims
- review lawsuit documentation and establish resolution actions
- manage outside counsel practices and billing
- train and mentor staff and maintain partnerships with underwriting and reinsurance
- monitor legislation and legal trends impacting claims
- participate in special projects
