Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years culinary leadership experience
  • Previous union and hotel experience required
  • Strong passion for hospitality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary leadership experience of at least two years
  • Experience in unionized hotel environments
  • Strong team-focused attitude and passion for hospitality
  • Ability to maintain high standards of quality, productivity, and customer focus
  • Demonstrated leadership and adaptability skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

Job Duties

  • Assist the executive chef in directing and overseeing all culinary operations including meal preparation, food quality, presentation, and compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Create and implement menu selections for special banquet themes and events aligned with current food trends and regional tastes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, counseling, evaluations, training, scheduling, and recognition
  • Manage cost controls and contribute to overall financial profitability of culinary operations
