Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
  • or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 2 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage budgets and payroll efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • 2 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
  • strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage daily kitchen operations
  • personally prepare and execute food items based on specifications
  • supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff
  • ensure compliance with food and sanitation standards
  • develop and implement culinary innovations and presentation
  • manage employee performance and provide coaching
  • oversee budget, purchasing, and food storage standards
