Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage field
  • OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 2 years experience in culinary or food and beverage field
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
  • experience with budget and payroll management

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in culinary or food and beverage
  • OR 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 2 years relevant experience
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • experience in budget management and cost control
  • ability to develop and implement training programs

Job Duties

  • lead and manage daily kitchen operations
  • supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff
  • ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • train, coach, and mentor culinary team members
  • maintain purchasing, receiving, and food storage standards
  • prepare and cook food items according to specifications
  • oversee customer service standards and guest satisfaction
