Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of hospitality sales experience
  • Extensive sales and negotiation expertise
  • Attention to detail in business correspondence

  • Proficiency in mathematical computations and analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and hospitality sales platforms

  • Presentation skills for senior management and clients
  • Willingness to travel including overnight stays

Job Duties

  • Meet and exceed sales goals of assigned market segments
  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies
  • Manage key client relationships and identify new target markets
  • Maintain accurate records in Sales & Events database
  • Report weekly achievements and adjust goals
  • Solicit and secure new business through outside sales calls
  • Participate in trade shows, promotional and industry events
  • Conduct site inspections and client presentations
  • Respond to inbound requests for proposals within 24 hours
  • Negotiate with clients and close sales deals
  • Differentiate offerings from competitors
  • Implement sales plans to maximize market share
  • Ensure seamless client experience from sales to event management
  • Achieve assigned goals and objectives
  • Maximize time management and productivity
  • Forecast revenue for assigned groups
  • Maintain communication with departments
  • Establish professional client relationships
  • Comply with accounting standards
  • Confirm accurate billing and revenue posting
  • Develop knowledge of policies and procedures
