Job Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a hotel sales manager
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proficient in sales and booking software such as Delphi FDC
- Availability to attend events and conduct site inspections
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a hotel sales manager
- Proven ability to generate leads and close sales in a competitive environment
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
- Experience with hotel sales software and customer relationship management systems
- Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills
Job Duties
- Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through proactive sales efforts
- Represent the hotel in developing market segments and maintaining assigned customer accounts
- Develop and execute business strategies based on market trends and analysis
- Manage customer and account relationships with strong sales and communication skills
- Conduct outside sales calls, attend industry tradeshows and customer events
- Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with customers and intermediaries
- Coordinate customer requirements and maintain accurate booking information in the hotel management system
