Job Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a hotel sales manager
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Proficient in sales and booking software such as Delphi FDC
  • Availability to attend events and conduct site inspections
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a hotel sales manager
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close sales in a competitive environment
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Experience with hotel sales software and customer relationship management systems
  • Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through proactive sales efforts
  • Represent the hotel in developing market segments and maintaining assigned customer accounts
  • Develop and execute business strategies based on market trends and analysis
  • Manage customer and account relationships with strong sales and communication skills
  • Conduct outside sales calls, attend industry tradeshows and customer events
  • Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with customers and intermediaries
  • Coordinate customer requirements and maintain accurate booking information in the hotel management system
